The Individual and Family Care in Nora municipality consists of three units: the Adult Unit, the Child and Family Unit, and the Labor Market Unit.

The Child and Family Unit includes social services authority operations as well as the open care unit. As a social worker with us, you will work in a team with 10 social workers, an administrator, and a foster care secretary. The daily work is led by the Senior Social Worker with close access to the Unit Manager. The entire unit is located in the same building, which allows for close collaboration with our own open care. Here, you will encounter varied tasks, great engagement, lots of laughter, and high professionalism.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to work as an investigative social worker with us in Nora! You enjoy working independently as well as in a team. You are attentive, have good collaboration skills, and take responsibility for your tasks. The work requires the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with others; you need to be responsible, flexible, communicative, and enjoy working in a team. You have a salutogenic approach in relation to your tasks and your colleagues.

The tasks are mainly focused on authority operations according to SoL, LVU, and other applicable legislation for children and young people aged 0-18 years. Nora is a relatively small municipality, which allows social workers the benefit of working broadly with varied tasks, where we as a group help each other and are flexible. The operation is responsible for processing cases from incoming reports/applications, through investigation to implementation of measures and closure.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in Social Work and a driver's license.

Experience in social work with children and youth and their families, as well as authority operations within social services, is advantageous.

You should have the ability to meet and build trusting relationships and have a good ability to collaborate with colleagues and other partners. You express yourself well in both speech and writing.
